Source Reference Policy

Source references shown to users must be client-safe and accurate.

Rules​

  • prefer URL-backed external references
  • normalize internal or house labels into client-safe names
  • do not surface pseudo-domain values as source names
  • local or submitted sources may omit URL when clearly identified as such
