Creating an Investigation

An Argus investigation starts with a case record and one or more submitted materials.

Typical inputs

  • a CIS or KYC package
  • a person or company name
  • a website URL
  • title + URL context
  • an ID or passport image
  • mixed documents plus website references

What to expect

After submission, Argus moves through:

  • document processing
  • extraction
  • research planning
  • screening and public-source collection
  • deterministic report compilation

Good operator practice

  • include the cleanest available subject name
  • attach the primary website if one is actually part of the case
  • avoid mixing unrelated counterparties in one case
  • use notes for context, not for unsupported conclusions
